Bento boxes are a fun way to to pack a creative and eye-catching lunch. Originating in Japan, bento boxes have small compartments to separate elements of a meal and can be found at many Spencerport and Henrietta area stores. They’re great for child-sized portions of food, and for kids who hate the idea of one food touching another food.

Finger foods are a fun lunch for children, and it’s easy to keep them nutritious.

Low-fat cheese cubes, fruit slices, and veggie sticks can add up to a filling meal for kids with all the vitamins and minerals they need. Sandwiches are a lunch time staple for kids, but you can try mixing up the starch. Instead of bread, try a whole-grain wrap or a whole-wheat pita.

Henrietta Home Offices: Small Is Beautiful Years ago, I remember hearing about an entrepreneur who ran a multi-million dollar construction company from her studio apartment, using a small closet as an office. Of course this was only the administrative headquarters, the heavy equipment was kept elsewhere.

I was impressed by this thrifty home business owner who said she had no plans to rent space and increase her operating costs as her company grew: she loved her little closet office and made it work.

Some new team members recruited from the corporate world are initially skeptical about being able to run their business from a small home or apartment. Today’s article is about working in a small home office.
